A megamouth shark, one of the world’s most elusive species, was caught off the coast of the Donsol marine resort in the Philippines, south of Manila. The fisherman didn’t pause to marvel at their rare catch for long – the giant creature, measuring 13 feet long and 1,100-pounds, was carved up and eaten.
